Course description:

Students should be able to apply skills acquired to statistical analysis related to the health

Content:
1. Introduction to Biostatistics;

  1. Frequencies, mean, mode, median, standard deviation, variance, histogram, linear    regression;
    3. Probability and normal distribution and some applications of the foregoing;
  2. Introduction to statistical software (SPSS, Excel, SAS, etc.).

Methods of Instruction:

  Lectures

  Simulation 

  cooperate learning. 

Tutorial 

 Projects (e.g. Field work, group presentation)

  Reading of articles from relevant scientific journals

Methods of Course Assessment:

Evaluation will be carried out in accordance with the university policy. The lecturer will present

a  written  course  outline  with  specific  evaluation  criteria  at  the  beginning  of  the  semester. Evaluation will be based on the following:
