Course Description:
This course is designed to introduce individuals to the world of computers, so it is rich in its depth and breadth of content. I have taught this course for over a decade and have refined it to be incredibly amazing and awesome. You are going to love this course and it will forever change your life. You will gain skills in this course which you will use for the rest of your life and which will make your life easier. Knowing how to use computers is essential in our day-and-age. This course will give you the skills you need to use computers well. Every job today requires computer skills. This course is a refresher into computer science and would answers questions like:

  • What is a virus?
  • What is a computer network?

Starting with 0 and 1s to cloud computing and computer security we will explore art and science of computer science.

Evaluation will be carried out in accordance with the university policy. The lecturer will present a written course outline with specific evaluation criteria at the beginning of the semester. Evaluation will be based on the following:
